I immediately wanted to learn about it. My action was to do what was the easiest first and accept some challenges would need to wait for technology to develop.
I insulated & improved the efficiency of what I had, knocking off 5t of CO2 emissions quite easily. Many have followed.
As technology & value for money arrived, I replaced my central heating system, switched to EVs and added solar. Now I own a share in a windmill. My direct CO2 emissions are below 1t.
We can do this in construction quite easily, we are skilled and creative. Just get on with it!
